Defect list: common questions
Does anyone else have to sign?
No. It's your report: you finish it on your own, and it's sealed with a trusted timestamp and a verification code. Nobody else is asked to sign.
Do tenants have to report defects?
Yes. Tenants must report to the landlord any defect they don't have to remedy themselves (Art. 257g CO). If they don't, they are liable for the damage that results.
Where do the photos go?
Each photo lands in the section you are in, next to the defect it shows. AI reads visible damage from it, and you can change anything it wrote before you finish.

Each form uses your country's words and knows the facts it needs: meter readings and keys, defects with their photos, hours worked, the other driver's plate.
Apartment handover report
